Roscoe and Ivy are neurodivergent siblings navigating life’s challenges in unique ways!

As a neurodivergent parent of neurodivergent children, typical caregiving strategies usually didn’t work for our family. I became determined to create a children’s series based around our family’s lived experiences in order to help other families going through similar struggles.

As an autisic and ADHD adult myself, it was crucial to find a neurodivergent illustrator to bring Roscoe and Ivy to life. Danamarie Hosler, an autistic artist, was selected by Barefoot Books. My favorite aspect of Danamarie’s art is her stunning use of color!
